Used to reduce the gloss level of Poly-Tone, Aero-Thane and Ranthane paints.
Flattens Poly-Tone to full military matt shades.
With Aero-Thane it’s used to either decrease the gloss to match Poly-Tone or flatten all the way to full military matt.
To Flatten Aero-Thane to a Poly-Tone Gloss Level:
Quart Size- Replace 6 fl oz of the base paint with 6 fl oz of flattener. SHAKE WELL. Then catalyse at normal ratio. Then add reducer as required.
Gallon Size- Replace 24 fl oz of the base paint with 24 fl oz of flattener. SHAKE WELL. Then catalyse at normal ratio. Then add reducer as required.
To achieve full military flat with either Poly-Tone or Aero-Thane
Quart Size. Replace 14 fl oz of the base paint with 14 fl oz of flattener. SHAKE WELL. Then catalyse at normal ratio. Then add reducer as required.
Gallon Size. Replace 24 fl oz of the base paint with 24 fl oz of flattener. SHAKE WELL. Then catalyse at normal ratio. Then add reducer as required.
